thanks all, here's what I did, the running boards i bought are from 07 supper crew oem part, which had 8 holes (on each) pre drilled and 4 tapped nuts out of those 8 to bolt in the brackets, they obvously longer, the pre drill holes on the running boards WOULD not line Up with the supper cab stock holes on S-cab body
so I took off the brackets (2 on each side) and mounted them to the truck, then put the running board on to see, pushed forward, pulled backward, find out the location i like, then out of those 8 predrill holes i can only used one, the rest i have to drill new holes, put in the tapping nuts and bolted in, (these nuts are hard to find i have only 2 in my tool box) the other side i used self tapping screw which i think work fine since the brackets are the one that took all the stepping force, the bolts are sinply keep them in place.

* I think they also look cool if you used the 2 stocks holes at the front and let the rear hang toward the rear tire, make a nice step to the box ( they'll sure look good with short box) or chop off the rear and used the rear cap to recap them, so start with curb and end with straight look cool too, the way they on my truck that make them hard to tell they from S crew because I pushed them forward to ballance them out between the doors. this isn't hard than it seems, so U wanna put running boards from S Crew into S cab i say DO IT

Oh I did not seal the holes, on the other hand it's good to have holds on the bottom help drain all the crap, free off moisture build up
