i bought all my stuff offline. shifter and chrome plate are not available separately, you will have to buy the whole shifter assembly. i know you can buy just the gray trim pieces from the dealer, not cheap but they will match.

Your progress is very impressive ATOM. Great work, love the DSG. Looking forward to your results. Too bad my truck is my only vehicle.

i got a real nice xlt dash sitting in the shed, got the shifter, the column surround, pretty simple swap. my truck is 90% done, my column cover is coming in tomorrow, the "XLT" lettering will be done wednesday and the console lid is up in the air. it took me a total of 7 hrs total in and out, like legos.

funny thing is i may trade this one is sooner that i thought, time will tell.

I'm with you on this one.... I passed up 3 trucks because they had console shift. And the girlfriend loves being able to sit in the middle . I cant believe all these guys installing them... but I do like the paint jobs

in every state lift laws very, in WI. where i live, any truck under 8000 gvw cannot be lifted over a total of 9 inches. so 37's - 31's= 6 /2=3+8 inches of lift. 11 inches of lift, 2 inches over. that's alot of cash to put out and might get it parked. i mean if i wanna do it right, i should go with the fabtech and crank the coils, so that if i were to get a ticket, i can uncrank them and stuff my 35's back on, get the ticket signed off and head back home, crank em back up and throw the 37's back on
but the law states 5 inches of suspension and 4" over on radius for the tires, soooo i would be breaking the law i guess, like judas priest
