you know you want to, i wish it was an option in the xlt, but it's not. i love my chrome and gray, i wanted to buy a mark lt because i could get center shift, chrome and gray. but i can't see working with a mark lt, but i can see it rolling 35's on 20's. the swap should be a piece of cake. i am searching for some graphite plastic dye for the dash when it arrives, gonna have all the parts in transit by tomorrow.

start piecing it together and in time you will have the whole thing. i see pics of molding the console angle to the dash, pretty doable with some time and glass. i bought a console off ebay the other day for almost nothing and i'm pumped to get this mother in

Will you make a parts list and do your own full write up? Pretty please...

unhook the red plug, these 2 wires will need to be lengthened and run down to the console
tan/white stripe--will attach to the 7 plug off the console
red/yellow stripe--" " " "
note that the wires are the same colors as on the console harness

(i stole the pic from FX4andHarley's gallery)
now look at pic #2, that plug is what your after containing 2 blacks, pink with light green stripe, and yellow

both ground go together and length it down to the console--attach to the black on the console harness

pink/light green attaches to the console harness, it detects if your foot is on the brake before shift (when you hear that click)

yellow runs down to the console also key removal inhibit solenoid (no idea what that means)

now you will need to snag an illumination wire from somewhere, back of the radio or something (i am going that way, as i had a tap in there for my leds anyways)

when you get the jump seat out take the, hook the positive side of the cig lighter and hook that to the purple orange (or i am just gonna leave that harness and use that plug in and pull the pin outta the connector)

you will need 2 floor mounting brackets
front-4L3Z-15045B32-AA
rear-4L3Z-15045B34-AA

and i think i will need a new shifter cable also, i am gonna call and find out if there is more than 1 shifter cable used in the 07 f150's. i can't see ford using 2 but maybe 1 is longer than the other

I think it looks ok.

However, why spend all the money on it when you really can't shift with it...?

At least I've got a real center shift... and I didn't have to swap nuttin'.

Yup. But only once, into that big D.

Well, you do indeed got 2 and 1... but the last time I tried doing a launch while manually shifting an automatic, it grenaded the transmission.

(Unless I was doing it wrong... :o Maybe there's a hidden third pedal mod too... hmm)

You will need a new shift cable. The center console is longer.

did you run into any issues doing your swap?

did you use the same hole that the truck had for the column shifter to route the new cable thru?
