id probly stick with grey atom unless you want to paint every panel in the truck with fusion...what are you going to do about the steering column? do they make them grey with no hole for the shifter?

 

i don't know for sure. probably gonna have to make another one off piece.

i would like to find a leather wheel, but they want too much, even having the shop wrap one with leather is 2 bills. i think i will take the stock gray one and glass it and ptm or i will get another color and paint it, either way its more damn work, lol

i was gonna buy a rolled fx4 screw for 2 grand, but the guy backed outta the deal.

 

so i think i am gonna paint the dash this color SEM medium gray, that matches the dark gray xlt on the dash, right?

or would a metallic look better?

or go with silver like the fx4's

 

I say number 2 looks pretty good to me! I Can't wait to see this thing come together!

 

#2 looks the best...or just leave it stock silver grey...my gryphon pod is the same color as the lariat dash and its not that far off from my dash color

 

I say change it up and go bold like you were originally thinking!

 

Ive been going back and forth with this mod forever. The shifter console has been in my garage for a few months now. Ive even tried to sell it a few times. Those notes look great. I might try again

 

i was reading alot of posts and they say that a glossy painted dash pieces have a glare.

#2 would look pretty sweet though, it would looks bitchin, i think. way better than the red truck dash i originally posted.

gonna stop are carquest this morning and order my SEM paint, hopefully i can get it by the weekend

 

just ordered 2 cans of the titanium metallic. gonna paint the dash, vents, and whole top of shift console. bottom of console is gonna be black or granite (light gray)

13 bucks a can for the paint.
20 for the adhesive promoter (had to pay freight on that one)
unsure on the clear yet, thinking on going with low luster clear or satin gloss, any ideas? i want the glossy look, but no shine.
