Reading this thread is actually causing me physical pain....

[cpt. Kirk]...price....too low.........must...not....think about..... [/cpt. Kirk]

Seriously though, that is one fantastic deal! Unfortunately my 4R70W would unbolt itself from the engine and hide behind the garage if it saw that thing coming....

The supercharger is actually "upside down" compared to other ones on the market. The air comes in through the back, gets compressed down in the valley between the heads, then the air is shot straight up through the intercooler, down through the runners into the heads.

Most units you see suck air in from the back, compress on top of/between the heads, then the air is shot DOWN through an intercooler and into the heads.

Its REALLY hard to tell if one of these trucks has a supercharger on it (when using the Saleen unit) unless you know what you are looking for....or when you hear that whine. The saleen unit with a 3.0" pulley whines louder than a lot of whipples pushing a lot more boost....at least, thats how it was on the dyno two weeks ago.

Enjoy your new SC and JDM kit....you will never look back - unless its to see people you are passing

I can't even hear my SC and i have the 2.87 pulley. I wonder if you can hear it from outside.

What did your's do with the 3.0 pulley?

Everyone wins!

On a side note:

I have a slight vibration now from 17-21mph. I wonder if I bent my DJM flip kit brackets doing that nasty burnout yesterday morning... LOL

Wouldn't you want that air temp sensor after the intercooler? This is how I have setup all my blown mustangs in the past. Guessing the saleen does not have the room, I'm not sure. Seems like your air density difference in voltage from that location would be wayyyyy off.

I called JDM today with a few questions. They bumped the price to 4K.

No this is the sensor to read outside air, like for the display odometer etc.

One word: Spray'N'Wash!!!

(thank me later when you spray on and wash off and the engine looks like it just came off the factory line).
