There was a body shop that filled the cover holes for us and did a complete new fiberglass mold for the rear!! its pretty slick looking, kinda went for the Gen 3 Lightning look

Yeah I want to fill the holes in mine. After I drop my truck and get everything else done I'm going to get someone to fill in those holes.

How is towing ability affected by installing the blower?

So who else jumped in on this deal?

Fed-ex doesn't know how to ship 3 box's at the same time so I didn't get to install last weekend as planned. Friday at noon the install starts though.

I was getting 15MPG towing a 6500 trailer at 68 MPH. Not too shabby.

Just an FYI to people, the 04's do have a few differences. Most are pretty easy to work around, the big one is the fuel pressure sensor is different... I'll post pics on what has to happen to make it work.

Even with the low timing until the dyno tune, this trucks pulls hard. Initial Gas Mileage traveling from Waco to houston, going 80mph with 120mph sprints to pass several people at once... 19mpg

When I clean the engine bay. lol

There really isn't anything to see. If one didn't know better, you wouldn't think there is a blower on the truck at all.

Pictures on another truck for reference..

Originally last weekend. Tuner realized it was Easter last week, lol.

So now it's the 25th. I'm really excited. If it feels like a solid 410-420rwhp right now, possibly slightly more. I know I punched it this morning going about 35mph and it kept the rear 295's lit up until about 70mph. Which tells me the power is there, but it does make the truck "slower" then the vortech unit. Vortech would just hook up and go, this thing has so much torque it just breaks the rears loose. Sticker tires on a track this saleen unit would blow the vortech unit away. The vortech unit on the street though on street tires, I still think is the ticket.

I'm just glad everything started right up on the first try. I can't think Quiten(sp?) enough on the forum finding me the part number to the fuel pressure regulator plug and the wiring for it. Without that I would have been **** up the creek until my fuel rail would have got back from JDM.

04-05 guys have to send the stock fuel rail to JDM to have them modify it to make it work with the blower setup, or you can do what I did and buy an 06 fuel pressure sensor and a TPS harness plug.

They also must space up the power steering reservoir 1" using the JDM bracket to clear the valve cover.

Need to relocate the air temp sensor on the front of the truck for the inter cooler mount.

I'm taking off work early today(still put in 10 hours though lol) to do my taxes and clean my truck. Maybe I'll get frisky and do a little video.
