4.56's go in Wednesday

Didn't feeel like puttin this in powertrain section Finally decided to make the plunge and they will go in Wed. I'll be sure to report back any differences I feel after I get the truck and do a followup after they are broke in.

why just the rear ?

Dont have the money to do both sets, and bc I never use 4WD...ever. My truck never sees anyting it will get stuck in, I will do the front eventually. If I shift into 4wd then I am screwed..................bad.

What is the labor rate?

I got mine sitting on the floor.... Just don't want to pay what they are asking for labor on the west coast...

my local shop told me $1500 out the door , for front and rear

im in NJ

Not bad at all!!!

Just for labor over here the cheapest I've found is 325 for the rear and 425 for the front, labor only.

The shop told me they charge more if you buy your own gears. He said it would be 300 labor alone if I bought my own gears and came with no warranty.

I would wait man, that's just asking for something to happen...if your iwe's go your going to ruin something...I would save another 600 bones and do the fronts

And cant I just take the 4wheel driveshaft out if I wanna be sure I don't put it in 4wd?
