Canadian snow fun (p.s bull bar works)

had some fun in the snow on the weekend and got to use my bull bar, even though alot of you guys didnt think it would hold up for pulling i pulled that tree out of a ditch in 4lo and had to get a few running pulls to pull it out, not a huge tree but i also got stuck in my field and my buddy pulled me out with it and it held up fine, he said it didnt even budge when pullling out the tree.

small video, sorry about the sound it was windy but the lights look sweet

Looks like a lot of fun. What kind of roll bar do you have and where did you get it from?

Tell me about it, it took me almost an hour at the car cash just to get my truck back to looking respectable and not completely clean.

FX4_613, glad to see that your bull bar it working out how you wanted. Hopefully you got your tractor out, I was plowing this morning when i heard a snap and the blade wouldn't raise up or lower. I really getting sick of plowing...

whats wrong w the hitch in the back...might be a litte better for your truck, not to mention if the chain snaps, youll be buying alot less expensive parts out back

I've had to pull a tree out of the roadway and did the same thing you did....except I used a tow strap. Last thing I need is the chain breaking and flying into the windshield. Straps make a lot less damage when they bounce of yer truck!!!!

Looks good up there...gotta love snow!!!!!

Yeah man I would use a tow strap that stretches a bit. I hate pulling anything with chains. It's easy to snap them and they make a good projectile when they break. A tow strap will also stretch a bit when you tug on it, which will help break it (tree/truck/whatever) free with the extra energy).
