Pics of this set up?

I have a 2x4 08 Screw.

Thinking about putting on a 2' spacer in the front and also putting 2.5' blocks in the back.

I realize that I will still have a rake from back to front.

Anybody with pics of this set up? Or an opinion of what this set up would look like?

yep, there are plenty of pics of this setup

it's virtually the same as a OEM 4x4

i would hit up travis for that block for the rear. no need to go higher than 2" with a 2wd.

Can someone shed some light on installing rear blocks? I just lifted up my front end with the 2" AS and will be picking up some blocks from a member on here soon. Just want to know how difficult it is and how long it should take to install the blocks. It cant be harder then installing the AS spacers, can it?

And if anybody has pics of a 2wd with the 2" AS and 2" rear blocks, I would appreciate seeing it with stock wheels and tires.

Thanks guys.

jack up the truck
take the rear tires off
loosen the u-bolts up, put a jack under the axle and lower it slowly, slip the blocks in
tight it back up and torque to 150 ft lbs
slap the tires back on and your done, pretty simple

Thanks, I appreciate the response. I assume I will put the truck on stands. Where is the best place to put the jack on the axel to lower it?

You have one sweet truck too! How do you like the Xtreme AT's? How are they wearing?

block the truck up, take a big floor jack and place it under the center of the pumpkin, and lower it real slow, it'll work like a charm. as for the tires, i got 8k on them and they look brand new yet. i'm sure the next owner won't need new tires for 40k or so, great all-around tires IMO.

don't use the pumkin to jack up the truck, or support any real weight.

only do this to control the rear axle while unbolted and you are installing the blocks

Won't he need the longer 4x4 u-bolts to include the 2" blocks?

if the block is 2" tall, use the stock 4x4 u-bolts

if you are using the 3" AS block, use their u-bolts. they supply you with grade 8 bolts

Ok...the block is the Fabtech 2" and he has the hardware to attach them.

I have added the 2" AS kit to the front and the front sits about .5" lower than the back.

How much lift will it actually give me in the rear end?
