Who has added rear seat heaters

Like to see who has done this and what kit was used. How hard was it and how much did it cost. Pictures would be great too.

Seat heaters? So glad I live in FL. But seriously, there are kits out there that I have seen for universal applications.

It can be done. Do also have heated/cooled kits. Have I done it, NO. Would I do it, Maybe. It all depends on how safe it is.

It's safe enough, I just removed the spring from the handle.

The ticking doesn't bother me at all, my passengers thinks it's the engine.
The bell does make them jump though.

I'd try calling around and asking local custom car/car stereo shops. You would think there is something out there for rear seats. I know they can install them in front seats, people even have them in cloth seats, not just leather.

I just saw these. Looks like they would work (this is for only one seating area unless you only wanted to heat the bottom and then I would assume it would work for both sides of the rear seat).

Any thoughts?

I would think if you were to get an oem kit from ford for the heated and cooled seats with the switch it would be a fairly straight forward install. I imagine that they all install between the seat pad and the cover. So the majority of the work would come from uncovering and recovering your seats. I will look a little more into how much work it would be, but now I am considering installing the heated/cooled seats at least in the front two captains chairs.
