I was wondering if it is possible to remove the yellow piece that is located on the mirrors......the turn signal on the mirrors? I would like to tint it black if it is possible to get it off? Or even try to change the lights to red and replace the piece with a clear piece. Has anyone done this or even thought of it, if so pics and a how to on what you did. Thanks fellas

The whole assembly is an LED module.

 

Mask it off, and smoke it with niteshade.

 

Where could i get niteshade at in a store? Any onr know if it can be bought in store?

 

i cant get that to open... can you just replace the orange cover with a clear one?

 

VHT niteshade, available from Summit Racing, or eBay, you can also smoke your taillamps with this.

 

i dont think no one makes a clear replacement lense for it.

watch out local laws might not let you go clear and some cops just look for s#@^ like that

 

if you have clear...the cops usually don't hustle ya if you got amber bulbs. i got a friendly remember of my silverado when i had it from the heat, i had hyperwhite apc's in the daytime running lights, they looked blue and they weren't too fond of them.
