Quicklift's being installed by Ford Dealer Today
Well I'm getting the Rancho Quicklifts (front) and 9000xl (rear) shocks installed by my Ford Dealer today. I will post what it cost in Canadian Dollars for this (since I live in Edmonton). As well as a Front End Alignment.
P.S I noticed that no one has ever mentioned about re-aiming of the headlights after installing a leveling kit.

Hope to see some pics and read a review soon. I'm in the process of getting a leveling kit for my '08 and can't decide between the traditional spacers or the shock type spacers (Rancho Quicklift, Bilstein 5100s, etc.)
i like my headlights with the leveling kit on, i can see more. Plus when someone is doing 55 in a 65 in the fastlane my headlights go right thru there back window so they know to move over
Awesome. I think ourr headlamps are angled down too low from factory. Leveled makes it perfect.

Ok, well maybe the dealer is not the way to go to get the 4 shocks installed. The charged me $330.00 CDN. Maybe a place like Midas/Canadian Tire/ or another shop might of been cheaper.
The reason I went with the dealer was:
1) they were doing my 25,000km oil change
2) I wanted to know if they would say anything about warranty issues or comment on possibly any premature balljoint wear due to excessive angles. To which nothing was said or mention other than they went on without any problems.
3) I figured if anyone new our trucks it would have to be a Ford Dealer, concerning proper torque values, and supporting proper component so boots don't get ripped/torn etc.
4) They have the proper tools
Comment on the paperwork for the alignment mentioned that both LT and RT camber had to be adjusted due to the "Leveling Kit"
The middle edge of the front fender well is at 39 3/8" and the rear middle fender well is at 39 5/8" to the ground. Can't get anymore level than that.
And truck looks good too even with stock 20" tires. I will post picture in the next few days. BTW This is on a 2006 F-150 Lariat with the 150" WB or 6' Box
P.S on a side note: I did notice that my EDGE had been switched to Level 1 from Stock tune. Without anything being said. I didn't notice till I got out of the dealer or else I would of asked how it got changed.
As for ride, well I only rode it home so I didn't feel/hear anything different (which is good!!).
