Mirror installed, no problems at all, all i did was hit the backing of my mirror with my hand and the mirror and backing came off and i caught it, unhooked the cable and popped the other one into place....easiest ever. Thanks Guys!

i had that problem too, i tried installing it with the car on and the tabs keep adjusting behind the mirror and making it harder to apply pressure to clip it on, it was hard but it clipped on once i shut the truck off and the took the key out, it clipped so easily.

No, it doesnt matter when I put it back on. Its just so loose on there if the door is shut just right the mirror will either fall of completely or just halfway...

Well obviously something is wrong with your replacement glass backing or the mirror housing. Mine snapped in hard, and once it's snapped in it takes a lot more than slamming the door to get it back off.
