Where to buy replacement mirror side view glass?

Long Story short: I went apple picking in Upstate NY, all offroading, went down a small lane where this p.o.s. 300c was parked in the middle and I got too close to a thick branch and shattered the glass on my passenger side mirror...

The casing is okay, but the glass is cracked so I need a new one. I know f150store.com has a birds-eye one but thats just a stick on over the factory mirror.

Please help me as to where to get a replacement for a 2004 F150 Passenger Side Mirror ....just the glass

Thank You

My step dad had the exact same problem. He ended up going to the stealership because I couldn't find any on the internet. Ended up costing him $200, lame.

He had to buy the glass and the thing holding it. Maybe it won't cost you as much.

I had a guy cross the center line and hit my mirror. One dealership said that I would have to replace the entire assembly which would cost ~$400. Another dealership sold me just the heated glass for $20. The old mirror just snaps out of the mounting pins. The new one will just snap right back into place.

Yes there is, if you have the deluxe mirror package, then you have the heated mirrors.

The deluxe mirror package comes with turn signals in the mirror housing and on the row of buttons just below the HVAC controls there will be a button with a mirror outline that has the defrost symbol in it. This button is the one on the farthest right side.

Turns out I do have heated mirrors. $56 thru this link:
http://www.automirrorsplus.com/store...&productId=129

but I called Ford to check and they ran my vin number and told me that the mirror only cost $21, which totally can't be correct since I have heated mirrors and I doubt the glass is the same for it or am I wrong?

$21 sounds right for a heated side mirror. I recently bought one around that price at www.tascafordparts.com.

thank guys, yeah I wasn't sure whether a heat glass mirror was any different than a regular one so one for $21 vs the price on the link I posted i was confused....now for that ford site, do you need a part number to get the mirror thru them or did you call them?

thank you

I don't know about the web site buy my local dealer had one in the next day for $21+tax. For me the tax on $21 is not worth going without a mirror for several days. If you pay for shipping you will come out cheaper going local. Call several dealers for the part. Some are much more aggressive with their parts prices than others.
