Anyone have this problem?

When I'm driving along 25-30 the truck over revs a little, it almost feels like a slip in the tranny. It really is kind of annoying! I was told that it's the way the shifts points are in the new trucks.

mine does that sometimes and SLAMS back into gear. i have to ease into the accelerator if I know it needs to downshift. I've been told its normal as well but i don't agree...

'08 Lariat Limited here that does the same thing. The 4R70E and 4R75E both have done that ever since Ford has been using them....gotta love sub-par slushboxes!!!!

My '04 does not do this at all, but then again I'm easy on my truck, never up in the real high rpm ranges to where it needs to downshift alot to gain speed.

I drive like a grandma anymore. Mine acts up when I'm just cruising through town between 25-30mph. I just let off the gas when it does it's thing, would really like to have it fixed. There's gotta be a way.

Custom tune probably would fix it since its all electronic.

The only complaint I have about my truck is the cruise control, it seems to shift hard and alot since I got exhaust, and on the stock tune.
