Did some painting today

Painted my wiper cowl with Krylon Fusion gloss black, and finally got around to painting my lower bumper grill. I did not have the patience to unbolt the valance and all to access the grill, so I did it the mask off way.

Cowl Before

Cowl After

Masking time

And here we are all done.

I think it was a pretty good day, little things that make a nice difference. Looks much nicer.

Yeah it looks pretty sweet. I tried a few polishes and no real luck, might clay bar it.

I live in the northern mountains of P.A. i'm bound to hit one sometime, just dont want to hit a deer going fast at risk of frame or further serious damage, & I dont have it in me to baseball bat my own truck

"Well, a deer did it! thats right, the bumper and grill & lamps, hood's fine!"

Darren, that looks great, in fact, your truck looks great, but I may be a bit biased.

It's amazing how much those cowl panels fade, I broke one over the winter getting ice out from around the wipers and had to replace both so it didn't look ridiculous.
