Ground Force 2" rear drop shackles...Headlight adjustment required?

I've got a Ground Force shackle kit ordered that lowers the rear-end appx. 2inches. Will I need to adjust my headlights down? Don't want to get bright-lighted constantly and/or have 'em shinin' in the tree tops.

I would. Adjusting the headlights is quite simple.

I didn't and I haven't once had anyone flash their lights at me. In fact, I'm not all that impressed with my lights stock and I always drive my fog lights on. My buddies stock 2500 with a 2" Ready lift on the front puts twice the light on the road that mine does.

I have the 2" Ground Force shackle drop on mine, but since I've never driven my truck at night I couldn't tell you whether a headlight adjustment would be beneficial or not........:o

I never did set the headlights lower and haven't had any problems. I believe bluejay was right...it seems like the beams reach out further with'em raised slightly.

Here's what it made the truck look like:

I put those shackles on and then I adjusted my headlights. I found that they were adjusted wrong from the factory and the leveling kit actually put one in alignment and the other was still 2" too low. Page 88 of your owners guide has easy easy instructions.

I had those shackles on my 04 F150 and didn't need to adjust the headlights.
