Truck idles really rough

Truck idles really rough

I've got an '04 supercab with the 4.6 and it idles really rough...been doing it for as long as i can remember. What could be causing this?

i also have a 2004 f150 4.6l supercab and was running real rough for awhile then all of a sudden my engine light came out and it would shut off randomly. i ended up taking it to my buddies shop and all he did was clear the codes and clean the maf and it runs really smooth now try cleaning it. good luck.

i figured it was the MAF, i'll clean it up and see how she purrs

rag and i believe WD40 will clean it?

haven't heard of using WD-40

i used CRC cd electronic cleaner bought it at autozone if im not mistaken. give that a try worked good for me.

LoLLLL...Sometimes it takes a picture to make people believe...

Could be a lot of things, but it's best to start with the easiest if you don't own a MODIS, or other expen$ive diagnostic equipment...
