$3 mod

I was bored today,

Before

After

I know Nasty and Tonka were wondering what their grilles would like black so I figured I'd see too. Got 1/4 wide black tape and went to town. Took a little under 100' and about a half hour of my time. The only way I think I could make this work would be to get a different set of heads, or get the FX2 grille.

Thanks guys. I think its starting to grow on me more. It also holds up real well in the rain. Spent the day at a park have a bbq and was basically able to look at it all day. The worst that can happen is it peels off, and I'm out $3, I mainly just did it just to get an idea of what it would look like painted. Photoshop can only do so much for you.

I like it better before, to be completely honest. The good thing is you can just pull it off and no harm done. Might look cool painted to match the truck...maybe?

Not feeling it. There is no black in the truck. If you were going to paint it anything it should be tan. But It looks fine the way it was before.

I agree. You should have spent the $3 on wheel cleaner.

Would look better if it was paint.. Not tape, I can see wanting to get an idea of what it would like black, but why you would leave it on is beyond me.
