Flasher Relay

I have new Lightning style headligts coming and LED bulbs also. I bought the Electronic Flasher so my turn signals dont blink fast but MAN!!!!! it is going to be a bogger and a half to get the flasher in under the dash. Has anyone changed the flasher without taking the dash apart. I started taking it apart but gave up shortly. Would like some input from those who had handled this problem.

I have never done it on the f150, but usually the smaller your hands the better. They are a pain to get in.

Napa Flasher EP27

For those switching to LED turn signal lights and such the flasher needed can be obtained at NAPA Auto parts part EP27. I bought one from Autozone FL27 and my lights still blinked fast so dont bother with that one. Did not take the dash apart to access the flasher but had to lay on my back and wedge myself between the seat and floorboard to get the thing out.

I had no problem installing my flasher. It just doesn't have the plastic clip that holds it to the brace, I just pushed it up over the brace and wedged it in.

Where is this located, I am gonna need to do this soon, I ordered LEDs for my brake lights. I had to since I got smoked taillights, and they are really dark.

It's under the dash on the driver side up above the gas pedal. Mine had a black cover over it that I had to remove.

i know this is an older thread but i am having trouble finding the LED tail lights i need. i cant even seem to find the size of the bulb for both the reverse lights and my brake lights. i need to replace both with Bright LED's due to recently getting a ticket for having my tail lights too dark. if anyone could help me id appreciate it greatly.

thanks'

Aric

If you have tinted front windows I wouldn't get LED reverse lights. I did and the light output is worse than stock even though the LED light color is sexy.

you're going to have a hard time finding LED bulbs that are brighter than stock. The closest I saw was LEDtronics bulbs I had in my truck a while ago, otherwise the only LED 'bulb' I've seen that's actually brighter were the LEDs out of mountaineers or some taurus models that came with the factory LEDs
