ok i think the thing that was throwing me off was the cool white/warm white. when you select the product, it says WLED-CW5 (cool white +.95) i'm guessing that's the one? what about reverse? do you like how they're more direct behind you? would you have choosen another one?

i think i'm going to pick up the cargo lights, map lights and dome light. different style LED's have different dispersion patterns i think. are you happy with your interior LED's? which ones did you choose?

 

Yea the cool white are .95 cents more. I have a super crew with the overhead bins so I needed 4 of those for the map lights and 1 of these 17th from the top of this page http://www.superbrightleds.com/cgi-b....30590&next=50

for the dome light. 4211-x6 LED Festoon bulb white $1.95 + $1.75 for the white. The dome light is 42mm. Make sure you get the right size.
So if you truck is like mine you will need 6 of the 194 wedge bulbs and one of the 42mm and 2 of the 3156's for the reverse. I accidentally got the 3156 narrow angle for $3.99. I should have got the 3156-x25 LED bulb that have the LED's on the side too. They are 7.95 plus 4.00 extra for the white. I think if you get those you will be happy. Since mine shine straight out, nothing is hitting the reflector and spreading the light out.

Superbrightleds is one of my favorite websites.

I have installed a tonne of LED's in my boat. The whole floor is lit blue, cup holders, side gunnels have color changing 2' tubes, and I just ordered 18 pods to light up the bottom side of my swim platform.

 

They are great. Some of the best prices on LED's. I just wish they would improve their website. Its all over the place. Here is a pic of my interior LED's



Make sure you always get the wide angle LED's. The single LED or the narrow focus all the light in very small area. Not good for the interior.

 

I have a scab with 2 map lights and 1 dome light. here's my list, tell me if i'm off:

2 WLED W5's (cool) for map light
1 4211-6 LED (white) for Dome light
2 WLED W5's (cool) for license plate
2 WLED W5's (cool) for cargo lights
2 3156 x25 LED's for reverse

I think after all that, the only thing i'll need is the brake/turn signal but that requires a different flasher to keep things copasetic, right?

on a scale of 1-10 how would you say the interior lights illuminate the cabin? with the exception of PimpRohr's post about his putco's, most interior shot's i've seen look pretty dim, with focused light beams. i'd like to spread the light out if possible, or at the very least not lose any light versus the stock bulbs. i think some have gone with the "board style" bulbs like the putco's for the interiors. http://www.putco.com/product/Premium_Dome_Light/

do you think something comparable could be found from another source? $60 for those is rediculous.

 

Light output is about the same. The white light looks much better though.
They make a brighter dome light bulb. Might try that if you are worried. Looks like you have everything.
Here is the brighter dome light. Top ones on this page. 42 x 10 mm Festoon base with 6 LEDs. They should be twice as bright as the one I have.

I agree, the top ones are better, I have one in my rear dome (see gallery under night shots) the second ones down - do NOT get, I had these and after a while each little bulb started to blow out. Always go with the SMT LEDs I have learned.

 

Now those are pretty bright!!!!!!
