I have used NX5, Autocad Inventor 3D, Rhino 3D, and Autocad 06/07. Other than that I haven't had the chance to venture off into other programs. All of these programs I have used in high school and then NX5 in college. I actually designed a full bumper for my old truck that you guys would love, but I think it is on my memory card that somehow became corrupted
Oh well anyways console looks nice I can't wait to see it doneAlso I'm assuming that on the cupholder that is just the mold and you have to cover the outside of that with fiberglass to get the inside of the cup right? So that is just the mold basically for the final part right?

Still think you may be willing to build more for a profit ?

Right on, I'd appreciate that. Of course I'd compensate for your skills man ! Not expecting freebies !
So, you really need to start a thread about that little chopped rod you got sitting in the background. That has me straight drooling on my screen. Not trying to hi-jack this thread tho, but would like to know more about that one as well ! Got some real skills my friend !
Mind me asking whatcha do for a living ? Custom fab ? Or is this all pure hobby ?

Man now you guys started it! There are so many possibilities for a console
Ipods, cup holders, head units, subs, anything really can go in a custom one. Sheesh watch I'll have one built here over the summer
Addicting mods grr

its a 32 ford pickup, chopped 5" channeled 6" suicide front end, the back will be z'ed 16" for a quick change rear end, if you notice in the first pic of it the can of resin is sitting on the engine block, which is a fuel injected 4cyl ford out of a midget race car about 300hp, and a 4 speed top loader tranny, and its a rat rod so its painted. also ive done 100% of the work even the leading on the chop.
sadly its still a hobby but someday soon i want to start a company building rat rods, they are fun, cheap, and easy to build
im looking for a part time fabrication job right now though, but am going to ASU for mechanical engineering
