Very true, few months back I was actually thinking about trading this truck in and I almost turned into a very rude person with some of the numbers I was receiving back on the trucks appraisal.

I'm sure you're gonna love the new ride. Sounds like you missed G forces too much.

I am not going to lie and say I dont miss my truck because I do. I would have kept my truck and got my new car but ford credit wouldn't let me do that. I can't wait to save up some money to start the mods on the stang.
Who knows I might later on get one of those funky lookin new f150s. Till then, catch yall on the flip side.

Had the Stang bug for a bit too.. Buddy is gm at a dealership in area and I took a black GT California Special edition home for the day. Real nice but just could not dump the truck for a Stang, though a tough decision at the time. Since then drove an 08 Charger SRT8 - 425 hp 6.1L Hemi - for part of an afternoon ( put 30 miles on it ! ). It's an automatic versus the stang manual but I actually like the Charger better. Stang looks better but Charger - imo - drives much better and is way more comfortable. Still not enough to trade my truck on it. Payments on truck up next year and we'll be taking the 09's for a spin...

btw, my truck is worth about $25k out here...Hawaii has such a big truck market, that these things sell for outrageous prices. My truck could sell for $29-32k right now at a stealership...and it's a 06 with 20,000 miles...I doubt its coming with me when I go back to the mainland U.S.
also, you had a 06? and your title says 05?
I only pay $30k out the door for mine in 04. My old roommate bought a Nissan a year ago and only pay like 28K out the door, it was pretty loaded crew cab.

I wasn't here when you left, but I'll still welcome you back!

Wife and I are "considering" a Mustang .... wheels are turning, old vs new vs GT vs Shelby vs none .... decisions decisions .... but the trucks stay.

How'd they treat you on the trade in value for the Mustang?
