Brake light!!

My brake light keeps coming on and stays on for a minute or 2 then goes off on the cluster panel. Any ideas on what I need to look at??

The light is dual purpose.
It indicates parking brake engaged, it also indicates low brake fluid.

If its flickering you could be borderline low.

I thought about that but never checked it. Hard to check it going down the highway when I thought about it but forgot to check it when I got home. Thanks Matt!!! Going to check it now.

Don't panic (yet) - it may not be yer cluster. Low-hanging fruit first, okay?

Sorry. Thought you was someone else. If it's a switch or something similar, will it give me a code??

Okay!

Naw - no codes - it's too simple a system.

Has plenty of fluid but it looks dirty. going to change that then check the switch on the E-brake.

Found the problem. Seems as if when I push in the E-brake, the light comes on and when I release it, it will go off but I can wiggle the E-brake and it will come on and then off. Seems that it's not pushing the switch all the way in. Going to try to tighten it up to see if that helps but I feel that this is my problem.
