suggestions

Have a large car/truck show in about a month. Have about $500 to play with before then. Thought I'd see what you guys think I might think about doing to the truck before then.

My two thoughts were either a grill guard and some lights or a LineX bedliner.
Bed is kinda scratched up.

Functional stuff is best but all suggestions welcome. Most of the mods I've done so far are listed in my sig.

Showing and display ideas are more than welcome as well. =)

All of the windows will be completely down for people to look in.

It's definitely on my to do list for the summer though.

How about an aftermarket grill, or some different fender flares?

make a wish?

id say tint the windows (even though they will be down) 70 bucks at FX motorsports...

Maybe a bull bar in black? or a black honey comb grille?

What is the theme of your truck color wise, mod wise?

Yeah, it's the Make a Wish show.

Theme is "The Outfitter". hunting, fishing, camping, etc...

Here's an older shot of part of the display.

Jackstands are there to hold it down in the wind that day. Hood is normally only open about 6 inches. Adding a few other things for an indoor show like a couple green flood lights, guitar, cowboy hat, small camp stuff etc... along with the antique fishing rods, creel, and such.

I think a grille guard would definitely look good.

I wonder if they could pair all the f150's up? I know of a bagged 150 going to be there as well as me and you. That would be kinda cool dropped to mild lift to huge lift....

im in a huge rush to get done before march. Im trying to squeeze gears/diff. covers, leaf packs, and really really want the amp steps on by then but dont think that one will fit the budget by then....

I think one of the papers said that they would pair people up but they had to be there at the same time. You get your entrance in? Something in the acceptace letter eluded to a "stand-by list" for people that didn't or wouldn't get it in before the show filled up. Can always call Barry and find out. Would be funny to see them lined up.

The truck looks sharp One of my must have mods is bi xenox hid's, if you dont have them you will love them...I recommend the 5K kit.
I also like the bed liner idea you had.

Bullbar wouldnt look to bad, with a pair of round lights mounted on it.
A winch would fit into the "Outfitter" theme well, and would always come in handy.
Fishing rod or gun racks/holders.

I think for shows and such I would rather have a bed rug that can cover up the imperfections...with a spray in they can get gouged, are hard to clean, fade, etc.

Perhaps some camo interior overlays or something?

On a side note, how do those 325s wear on the stock rims. Any excesive wearing in the middle or anything?

I suggest dumping that peg board and getting one of these:
http://www.superstylings.com/

Also all that display stuff your talking about is just tacky...a car show is for showing your CAR. Anytime someone has a load of crap on display in front of their car its because the car itself is lacking something. I mean take a look at your own picture...does any of the other cars down through there have stuff piled up in front of them??? I am not trying to be an *** but you asked for suggestions.
