My girl is kinda upset that Im spending 5 grand on a supercharger, but honestly, she gets over it. She just puts her input of how she is against it and the money can be spent else where. But in my book there is nothing (other then her) that I want to spend my money on. I love modding my cars/trucks and Ill always do it. I have millions of dollars spent in my head, but I dont have millions to spend in my wallet. Im an auto tech for a living, and its what I love. My girl has her spending habbits, on things I would never buy, just mine happen to be dedicated to one thing, and alot more expensive.

 

Yeah one more thing, I do get alot of compliments on my truck. More than I ever expected. It feels good when someone notices the hard work and money I put into my truck.

 

That is for sure! I love when people ask me what I have done to it and I am more than happy to sit there and talk with them about every detail!
Plus I get a lot of looks from the ladies especially in the summer with the windows down and the subs cranked

The only thing I like more than spending money on my truck is sex and drinkin beer. The three of them pretty much occupy all of my time.

that is for DAMN sure. I get chit a lot actually. I love the attention though... I guess I am a attention *****. The way I see it lots of my friends **** money away and they will never see it again. Expensive liquour, trips, massages, going to movies. Intangible things, I'd rather spend my money on something that I am going to look at day in and day out, and take pride in. At my last job I made 6 an hour. There were times I'd choose to stay home and make a sandwich or eat ramen to cut corners everywhere.

When I first put my lift on my parents actually got mad at me. Then when the saw how I completely transformed the stock stx into agressive 4x4 that is a night and day difference. They have a lot of respect now for all the little details I have tried to enhance. My parents were really impressed when I changed the mirrors or put leds in the interior door handles.

Bottom line, right now I don't have much to name but what I do, I take pride in...

 

Back to PimpRohr. My father in law says if you love what you do for a living, you'll never work a day in your life. If you think about it, he's right. Just don'r tell him I said so.

I honestly dont get many compliments, just lots of head turns. Now when its parked say at work a million people look at it and walk all around it. I lost count of how many people have taken pics of my "tonka" overlay and the new tonka emblems....After all the big mods i like to get into the minor details and from there you can tell it becomes OCD...and no one could stop me...

my parents hate that i spend money on the truck, and they try to make me feel guilty about it. He says my truck sounds mexican, my sound system is ghetto, and my headlights look like asian street racers.

Well hes right, the HIDs are from Japan, most mexican trucks are equipped with flowmaters, and many "ghetto-fab" rides have subwoofers. But hey, its what i like to do; a hobby/addiction. and luckily i work hard for all my money, so i deserve to spend it the way i want to.

 

Save $5K and get the supercharger...
