being under the car gives no disadvantage. Now im sure it does if you have alifted truck and are mudding then that would be a problem im sure.

But reasons for ebing mounted under the car is to be more stealthy or a sleeper, and because it gets away from the heat in the engine compartment.

As much as it rains here, i would not want an under the truck air intake!

If the turbo is sized correctly for a street truck and everything else being equal, you would not. lb for lb of boost the turbo makes more horsepower and is more efficient than any blower.

I contacted them a week or two ago.. They've got a special going on now if you get one installed, ~$4500-5000 IIRC (I think they're still doing some research/tweaking)

From their e-mail to me

We are offering Introductory Pricing on a complete Kit Including a Front Mount Air to Air Intercooler, Upgraded Fuel Injectors, Upgraded Spark Plugs, Diablo Sport Predator Tuner and a TiAL Blow Off Valve. We have had Trucks make over 350 Hp with over 450 Lbs of TQ all to the rear wheels within the Boost levels that this Motor can safely handle. If you are interested in getting one of these Easy Bolt on Kits then contact me here at STS Turbo for more Information. There are Pictures and Dyno Numbers attached!! Let me know.
Here's the dyno chart they sent as well.

They also sent a few pics of the system installed, if you want to see those, gimme a shout, nothing really too impressive though...

Your right, the stealth part of it and lower underhood temps is a plus.

For a pavement pounder in good weather conditions a turbo mounted under the vehicle would be pretty cool. Im pretty sure I would have that thing ripped of laying somewhere in a field within a week though
You have to admit that all the elements splashing up onto the turbo and what not isnt doing it any good though.
