Your's looks good. I like the low profile boxes. The normal height boxes that block the rear window are UGLY!

Freeky-- the lo-pros look great on the new 08's there are several running around this area, it doesnt even seem to block ANY of the rear window, unlike the 150's where it comes up level to the bottom. .

Here you go Low profile UWS, and by the way if you miss having it, you must obviously need it so therefore it cannot be ugly, I use mine daily. and i think it looks good.

looks good

that looks good

i think the tan color that is on the king ranch rails would look awesome on a toolbox, it would blend in with the tan rails and the bottom of the truck.

has anybody ever seen that?

Well I ended up getting a low profile UWS black over-the-rail box (TBS-69-LP Blk). I don't have it Line-X X-Tra'd yet but I'm not so sure I'm going to at all. It looks ok as is.

Does my truck look better with the box?...No. But it doesn't really detract any either in my opinion. I have a wedge type black box (also a UWS) in the truck that my wife drives. To be honest I don't know which one I like the best. Mine is more convenient to get in to but my wife's is all but hidden until you get up close to the truck.

All in all I'm glad I put a toolbox in both of them.

So there, I said it. I have a toolbox and I like it. Does this mean I'm getting old?

I went with a low profile because they look good, and VERY functional.

I as well use mine almost every day, and seeing that my truck is a single cab, it helps me store everything in there and not in the cab.

I like the look, but would not utilize it, so therefore I went with a tonneau. In West Texas, everyone has a toolbox. When I see trucks without them, I think they look weird. I can attest to their handyness and functionallity...

Yeah, like adding chrome or stick on hood scoops........

From what I have seen, even the low profile over the rail boxes block a little of the rear window. That is what makes toolboxes ugly. I think that a chest looks much better...without the wings hanging over the rails. I just can't bring myself to drill holes in my bed, or I would have one.
