This is what I got for my s-crew.

The only thing that sucks is that if you have a tonneau cover, you will need to remove it to open the box and will now work with a cap. If you are ok with that, then it is pretty nice. does not take up much space and I mounted my compressor inside it. they also sell it in black.

I have the uwr lowprofile toolbox. it is line-xd. so is my bed, rear fender wells, bullbar, and step bars. i have a few pics in my gallery, not sure if youll see what your looking for. i barely notice the toolbox because it blends with the truck so well. function before looks, its a truck....just my two cents

Personally I think it depends on the truck. Some I like it and others I don't.

Before I had my quad, I had a dirt bike. Without the toolbox, I could completely close the tailgate and then throw all my gear around it. With the toolbox, I just left the tailgate open and was able to throw all my gear inside and then lock it up as well. The quad goes into the back of the truck if it isn't on the trailer and the tailgate stays open then as well. As with the dirt bike, I just throw all my gear in the toolbox and lock it up; no worries. I think functionality of toolboxes are the biggest concern. You can throw gear and tools in the truck and know that they are locked up and safe while having the bike in the bed. Just my .02

I agree that it depends on the truck. On my '91 I think it looks good. On my newer body styles I do not like them. They are functional though, I really like having one. I my give some consideration to one like Impact9 has.

I don't like them when they stick over the rails, at least not on the new body style trucks. I went with a chest box. Pics are in my gallery. It takes up a pretty nice chunk of the bed, but I always make it work.

I got way too much stuff not to have one. Looks great and UWS is a great company. My first one started flaking, found out they had a bad batch and they replaced it no questions asked.

Any pics??

Ive got a low-profile and a chest right now and still am tossed up which I like, on a lifted truck what do yall think? I kinda look at it this way you lose bed space both ways, but with the lo-pro you gain a bit under the box, with the chest you gain the clean lines of not seeing the toolbox. I just still dont know which I like. . .

I like the room the over the rail box I have offers. I am not crazy about the looks though. If I could find a decent price for the Delta steel version of the box Impact9 has I probably would have never gone with an over the rail, but instead gone with a pair of those saddle bag type...

I think the toolbox looks good on my truck. It may be ugly but I use it for everything. It holds jumper cables, ropes, tools, giant spot light, jack, etc... I love it.

I don't think it has to be REAL ugly. If the box matches the truck, it's less conspicuious. I don't think it adds beauty, but I would enjoy the functionality.

I had to go with this because with this short a$$ bed i need to be able to slide stuff under it
if you can get away with the chest it looks so much cleaner
