Ok, I know I'm not stupid so maybe you guys can help. I bought a replacement style billet grille. I know that this type you remove the original honeycomb shell and the replacement takes its place. The one i got simply slides over the honeycomb grille and bolts up to it. The moron I bought it from says I'm wrong and its the replacement. Can someone help me out or justify me? Any pictures or anything will help.

 

do you have any pictures of what your talking about and which style grill do you have

 

I've got the complete replacement. The first billet I bought was the kind that you cut out all the honey comb and leave the border of the grille behind. If yours fits over the honeycomb like you say, then it's just the overlay and not the replacement.

rsbeachbum got it on the head. It's not the replacement, its just the one that lays over the original honeycomb grille.

 

it all depends on the early h-bar grilles the honeycomb popped out so i dont know if the regular grilles honeycomb pops out or not. what do the instructions say

The regular grille honeycomb pops out, just like you didn't know, and I replied that it does.

 

i didnt know if you replied it does to the honeycomb poppin out of the h-bar, like in disbelief, but maybe if hes got the earlier model maybe he should pop out the honeycomb and put in the grill he got

 

If i took the honeycomb grille out there would be a big gap around it because it is just the bolt over/overlay type.

Ill try as soon as I have some free time. I already put it in because the people I ordered from were morons and wouldn't send me the correct part or a new part since the one I got was damaged. I didn't want to wait another week to ship it back to CA then wait another week for it to get back and it be the wrong one again.
