Those with Recon Third Brake Lights

Can you access the LED's from the back of the light or is it completely enclosed? Just wondering what happens if one of the LED's doesn't work or if it burns out... I want to purchase one but make sure that it can be replaced easily...

Thanks

I beleive its fully enclosed, I could take it off and look sometime, I didnt really pay attention during the install. I did notice yesterday when I finally was able to wash the truck my clear/chrome version the plastic is starting to yellow a bit. . LED's supposidly have a pretty long life from what I understand

The LEDs can't be removed without breaking the seal on the housing.

December will be a FULL year and I have had no issues with the LEDs in mine EVER.

Hope this helps D.

Another vote for the Recon, LEDs have such a long life expectancy that you'll not need to worry about it!

It is brighter; however, it won't light up the cargo area like the OEM.

I've got one and love it. Im with the other guys the LED's shouldn't burn out.

While you are ordering the Third brake light pick up the bed lights too. They have to be on of my favorite mods.
