Found a 1/2" diam ball bearing on ther driver's side floormat and wonder where iot came from. Seats and everything else I looked at seem to work. Where else would a ball bearing be used in the cab? And yes I did check my own head and all screws are loose and the marble count is a few short as usual.
I thought I had covered all the stupid answers with the reference to my head but since I missing a few marbles I can't think of everything. Been to a shop Lately - Yes I Have. I had a knock sensor replaced under extended warrranty. All that work was under the hood, dismantled air intake stuff, but that is all I know about what they did. Any ideas based on that?

How do the seats slide back and forth? Are they on ball bearings?

Hmm... interesting... I found one on the floor a few months after I picked up my '07. It's 1/2" in diameter too. I have no clue. I'll take a picture (if I can find it).
