I knew that breaking into random peoples trucks and putting ballbearings in the floor would confuse them, but I didn't know it would start a 4 page thread.

I'm not sure, but aren't there ball bearings in the steering column?

Well, now that someone else started the thread, i dont feel crazy mentioning this now. I found a 1/2" ball bearing under my drivers side floor mat a couple months ago while i was detailing the inside. I tore most of the interior apart, even the center console and found nothing.

Details on the truck:

-I bought the truck brand spanking new in October 2003.
-It was built in the Norfolk Assembly Plant.
-Automatic with power everything.
-The leprechaun that left it was no where to be found.
-I was crazy once, but I'm good now.
-It was shiney like a ball bearing, not a lead slug for a muzzle loader.

ROBFX4:

My build date Norfolk 11/11/03 so since you bought in October your build date must have been 1 or 2 or 3 months earlier, maybe more. It took 3 years 8 months for my ball bearing to appear. So does the Norfolk plant have Gremlins that plant timed release balll bearings?
