dude dont worry about it...alot of ppl on here like to bust ***** rather then give helpful info. i have chirped mine on occasion. granted i dont want to burn my tires down faster than i have to so i dont try that hard. i only have a roush offroad exhaust and aem bruteforce intake.

Well going by your name you really should understand this. Just because the 1997 would "chirp" the tires, it doesn't mean much of anything other than you had a traction issue.

the 97-2004 also weighed alot less than these trucks. an equivalent truck from those years weighs 600 lbs less than my Screw right now does. Yes, the new 5.4 has better HP and TQ #'s, but it also has more wieght to push.

Yeahhh, everyone always gets on people for spinning their tire for some reason

The combination of the electronic throttle control (and torque managment from this) and their heavy azzes makes it hard for these things to be quick, or burn rubber off the line if you want.

My truck would spin from a stop stock, it wasn't anything special but it would do it. After true dual exhaust, intake, tuner, and fans it will spin a lot from a stop and scratch second.

ya... but if he has an FX4, he has an automatic... so no burnouts...

With my Edge on level 3 I can squeak them... but not really light them up, unless I'm turning from a side street and flooring it... then I can smoke them pretty good.

But like previously said, why bother with a truck? I knocked my Edge back to level 2 so I can run regular.

You can do a burnout just fine with an automatic.

2nd has no power compared to drive.
