Peel out... Anyone?

OK, I just traded my 07 GT Mustang 5sp(4.6/3.55 axle) with SCT/93 Race BamaCips tune and JLT CAI w/ Flowmasters, which had the same hp, 300, as my new FX4(5.4/3.73 axle). So far I added dual Mangnaflows and a ROUSH CAI. Performance comparisons between the two are night and day. Sure, I understand everything about tunes, torque(actually the F150 has more), throttle lag, power to weight ratio, flywheel HP vs. RWHP, etc, etc,etc... But, you'd think that this truck could peel out on heavy acceleration... nada! I'm sure the 20" OEM wheels may have a little to do with it, but still... It's as though it has traction contol. I will be going with a SCT/BamaChips set-up in the near future. I was wondering whether this is common? Can anyone out there peel out, in a streight line, with their stock F150? Thanks

At the risk of sounding like an azz,......
I quit doing that shortly after High School.

Anything made out of petroleum is to expensive to waste.
Heavy truck, big tires, no spin:(

It took me Efans, 91 Octane Troyer tune, AF1 Intake, Magnaflow SIDO exhaust and underdrive pullies before I could burn out off the line. Even then it was not impressive.

I can burn rubber like a mad man..... on snow packed roads. Dry roads... not so much.

I could probably peel out if i didn't have a L/s. With an L/S, its hard to do brake stands

No I have single chamber flowmasters right now, but I had a maggie.

My truck will peel out stock no problem, in fact, I did it today, but only for 5 seconds at max, just to see if my truck was giving good output power and my limited slip was working for the winter coming soon. Sure enough, I laid a pair of black marks from a stop sign. I let off on the clutch at about 1700 rpms, and I let it go up to about 3200 rpms before I stopped and shifted.

Of course I unloaded my truck, which is a rare scenario... normally I'm carrying about 1200 to 1500 lbs of cargo. Which I can really notice a difference when driving. However, I needed to clean out the bed, and clean the entire truck, for the second time this year, to get ready for the winter. So this was a rare chance for me to peel out.

Spinning wheels= going no where. When I stand on my truck, I want it to dig. Not sit there and spin........ Just like my Mustang.
