end of the beginning

well im not happy i got rid of my truck but im sorta happy i upgraded

upgraded to a 2007 dodge cummins diesel 6.7l ( exhaust brake , 6 speed auto shift.....list goes on and on and it cost 10k less then a same equiped ford anyways i love ford but when the cost was 10k less hard to back down from it .......plus me and my dad traded both our trucks for almost identical trucks... lol

loved my f150 nothing against them just that i needed more room mostly the 8 foot bed plus its a 2500 i could load it up no worries... but nah ill never dis ford..my bro drives a 2000 f150 so ill stay around and mod his a bit

best part of it... it's a cummins. i've got respect for the powerstroke, but you gotta love the cummins. in my opinion, cummins makes the best diesel engine.

Yup, you may be able to top the numbers of the Cummins stock for stock but its reputation and reliability hasnt been touched be anything with a new bodystyle. I love the new Ford superduties, but for me it would be hard to overlook the value and motor of the 3/4+ ton dodges

From a cost standpoint, Dodge is pratically giving their trucks away. There is a Dodge dealership not far from where I live, I am not going to get rid of my F-150 (just paid it off last month) but i did stop and looked at a few.
The 1500 I looked at had 20" rims, 5.7, the top of the line Larime model for
24K+. I test drove it, was real nice IMO.

Sorry to see you go...hope that lifetime warranty add didnt sucker you in...fine print reads excludes diesels and SRT.

don't mind the haters (they will come). Nice trade, would like to see some more of their interiors though. Any new diesel is better than the 5.4 we're stuck with. Whats this I keep hearing about a lifetime warranty?

their isnt lifetime on the cummins or srt models... only on the hemi's, mini vans and all their gas engines......... but i did get the 100k bumper to bumper warranty..... i dont plan on doing anything but a topper for this truck

I would have got a new Cummins but I couldn't get over the goofy lookin headlights.

probably wont need it. nice choice on the desiel.

my stepdad had an older one he used for work. i loved that truck. now it has well over 200k and pulls just as hard as it did brand new.
