I like it, my buddy has a cummins. Just too bad that when you buy the cummins they throw in a dodge.

Good luck with it, and sharp truck.

That Cummins will last much longer than the DODGE that surrounds it.... that is why they do not give you a lifetime warrantee, a Cummins will run 300,000mi easily before a rebuild, however that Dodge that the Cummins sits in won't, that is for sure........

You will love the Cummins. Only bad thing is that the new Rams are coming out next year and you will have an old body style truck....thats the main reason I went with the SD over the Ram.

The Cummins is the best, and the scheduled rebuild on a Cummins engineisn't untill 350K miles!!!! Wow! But the problem is the rest of the truck around it won't last that long. No matter what, you made the right choice on getting a Cummins! We are all just jealous we can't have a monster like that Cummins Torque Giant!

Just an FYI the warranty is a lifetime powertrain warranty. That means engine components and transmission components. The website wont say what components, you must see the dealer for a full warranty. Diesel and certain fleet vehicles are not covered.

I can tell you some things that arent covered...pistons, piston rings, rod bearings, engine seals and other "wearable" parts! I made it that far and was like WTF is covered...the block? Seriously the lifetime warrenty is a joke...if the engine needs rebuilding because its worn out its not covered.

Congrats on the new truck, now call up the dealer and schedule your transmission rebuilds... How is the new 6.7 treating you?

ETA: Over on TDG there is a thread called "Who has a 6.7 and HASN'T had a problem"

Sweet! Who cares what other people think...I would love a turbo diesel! I hear the cummins is great. Now just throw some big meaty tires on there and it will look awesome.

I am also sure it won't be long before you will want a tuner....it will get some more ***** out of that beast!

Very nice truck

This time next year I'm going to be looking at the Dodge Ram Diesel Mega Cab Dually have always loved the cummins engine there isn't anything like it! Programmer, intake and an exhaust is all you need.

Just found a pic of my dream truck, except the stacks

6.5' of bed. Have you ever sat in the back of a "crew cab" Dudge? It's about as roomy as a extended cab.

And as for the motor out lasting the truck, the new 6.7's are iffy. Plus, like all of the other new diesels, they've got all of that emissions crap on them.
