Good Bye Ford!!!

Well, just bought a new 2007 Silverado Texas Edition fully loaded today. Got tired of Ford ignoring my problems with the truck ( in the shop 8 different times in less than 2 years), and not doing a damn thing about it! I loved my F150 when I first bought it, but wayyyyy too many problems. I'm so done with FORD! Good luck to everybody on here, this is the best truck forum online, PERIOD!

I never understood why people felt the need to come on here with these Good-Bye posts, it seems like you're just looking for trouble.

From that angle its not a bad looking truck. Goodluck and have fun. Nothing mechanical and massproduced is ever perfect.

My coworker just got an 07 loaded z-71 Tahoe. 5k miles on the ticker and it wouldnt start, I picked him up for work in the trusty Ford. Everything has its problems, but he new Chevys are amazing inside. GM has done a fantastic job with the quality & fit and finish of interior materials. I am honestly not attracted to the looks of the new body style, but personal taste varies. Those new Chevys also scoot! Very powerful, smooth engines and I also like the fact they are e-85 compatible. Good luck with it, I hope it serves you well.

And he says he isn't looking for trouble...

Enjoy your new truck, you'll soon learn that Chev is no better or no worse then Ford. If any one brand was alot better everyone would be buying their products. You buy a vehicle, your going to run into problems with it(big or small), you deal with dealers, your gonna get screwed over by them, its how it goes.

I said the same thing one time - albeit worded differently - and RockPick banned me for three days.... so I'll just ****.

I have to agree with him, how the hell could you be looking for trouble over the internet? Some of you guys take this to seriously. The guy came here to express the problems he's had with ford, that I KNOW alot of us have had as well. I personally wouldn't have gone that route but I dont pay his bills nor am in anyway responsible for the things he does so......why care??? Good luck with your shibby

And thump, not to knock you down or anything, but if these threads bother you so much why do waist your obviously so precious time with replying to them?

I like this forum, LOTS of helpful info! Just seems like when someone says something everyone jumps on the train and rides em into the ground. Just my .2
