Angry Wow Service Sucks..........

Just went to pick up my baby from the dealer for a detail job and wow their pressure washer took 4 big spots of paint off my front bumper. The manager is out for a death in the family no one looked at my truck before the kid cleaned it so who knows what will happen and I leave for work tomorrow (I work offshore btw gone for 2 weeks) so it looks like I have know idea what will happen when I get back. Sorry just needed to vent

Well long story I had it their last Thursday for a ball joint replacement while it was on the rack a local paint shop dropped off some paint. well they set it on the rack so when they drove my truck off the rack the tech ran over the can of paint with my front pass wheel got blue paint all over the side & wheel of my truck .so when I went to pick it up I saw that they smeared it all over the side. So they promised to detail it for me today.
Lesson learned

Ok I would get it out of there ASAP. Take it to a professional body shop and get a bill to cover everything they did. Take them the bill and let him know he has one chance to agree to pay this bill before things get ugly. If he refuses to pay get the local media involved, they would love this story

Since you will be unable to personally speak to the shop manager, send him an email (or snail mail) with pictures of the front end and copy the dealer's general manager. Just let them know the paint damage occurred while they had the truck and you would appreciate them putting your truck back to the condition it was in prior to entering their facility. You have nothing to loose and playing nice may motivate them to do the right thing.

I will say it again, get the truck out of there. I wouldnt let them "repair" the damage done. Everytime they touch it they cause more damage. Break the cycle
