I have the Volant intake with the RAM Air kit and knock on wood I havn't had a CEL in the year and a half I've had it. I don't know about differences with other CAI, but anything is better than stock. I also have the Edge and do keep track of the Air Intake Temp and it usually hangs around the outside temperature unless i'm idleing for a while.

You can really here the volant suck in air when its first installed compared to stock, but its hard to tell if it caps out beyond 4K RPM.

just my .02$

289 rwhp? You must have a factory freak to be makin that kinda juice with just a CAI and tuner!

Either that, or the dyno needs to be calibrated

Maybe the nitrous fairy was dancing around near the intake during the dyno pull

Nope, Dyno runs all that day with all kinds of trucks including diesels. No problems.Stock except for the Volant & Edge.

Not bad then. That's at least 30 rwhp more than the average with just those two mods I'd say

I'd give the CAI 3 rwhp at best and the tuner a possible 10 rwhp for a total of 13 rwhp gain from those two add ons.

Really? Completely stock except for the Volant and Edge and 289 RW Ponies?

Barry Bonds also claims his Career HR Record is "legitimate."

PS: I'm just messing with you but I'd love to see a dyno sheet as that's pretty damn impressive.
