SAFETY ALERT!!!! Wheel NIBBLE

All,

I know most of you owners of the F150 have the nibble or are aware if it.
My truck has had the nibble so bad on one occassion I was all most ready to pull of the road. Ford needs to do something about this before someone gets killed. I am going to notify the NTSB, I hope others will follow.

I know you are not serious about this. Most owners do NOT have the problem otherwise it'd be a huge ordeal but it's not. I don't think anyone is going to get killed unless you're at fault. This is also against forum rules, it's called cross posting. Don't try to make this out to something its not. I gave my opinion in the other thread and I'll do the same for this one. 3 times to the dealer or 30 consecutive days at the dealer and you'll be eligible for LemonLaw, look into it. Otherwise you have no one to blame but yourself for not taking the action needed.

I am dead serious about this, many owners and there familes could be injured or killed by this. Did the Ford / Firestone safety issue and deaths happen in your world?

my steering for one isnt nimble! as thumper already said if your having issues with your dealer take the proper actions and then file for the lemon law or go to another dealer... this tread should be locked before this just turns into a pissing match....

Problem with posts like this is that the second someone posts about the "widespread nibble problem!!" everyone suddenly has the same symptoms and problem. It's VERY easy, especially with complex vehicles to match a limited few symptoms and think you have identified the source of the problem- and be completely incorrect.

I too bought into this hysteria for the same problem. I got my tires re-balanced and it didn't help! Oh God, it must be Ford I thought.

Then I rotated my wheels AND re-balanced them and voila, nibble gone. Odds are the majority of people that will not blame Ford have it wrong in the first place.

Leave it to the mechanics to do the diagnosing...

Your taking little effects and blowing them out of proportion. The nibble is usually just tires and wheels somehow out of ballance, not tires blowing out like the firestone insident. How are people going to get hurt? Your hand goes to sleep and you lose complete control of the vehicle . Im 18 too by the way, and I have a little better understanding of mechanics than a lot of people, I don't see how there are people in danger. Better people skills than some people also .
