Talking Left F150

Sorry guys after years of driving F150's 7 to be exact ,I left and went back to Tundra (owned one in 2000). The F150 is great just to many problems I had three, 1.2002 King ranch 2. 2004 lariat 3. 2004 lariat (check out my gallery.https://www.f150online.com/galleries...y.cfm?gnum=892 All three had to have transmissions and rearends, only after about 3000 miles.Only traded the Tundra because I needed more room. Now I have more than I need. Take care guys its been fun.

What the hell did you do to these trucks to have to replace three transmissions and rearends?

Abuse or just bad luck?

Good luck with the Tundra.

The correct word is "too", but I digress.....

That's one hell of a string of bad luck. Not try'n to stir anything up, BUT it seems awful coincidental that you had 3 new trucks, and they all gave you the same catastrophic problems. Logic and odds would dictate that this can't be a problem with the truck, but more it's driver and or use....then again, I'm a very analytical person. (the word **** is in there somewhere....).

Good luck on truck number 4.

That was my first thought also.....
I've had my 04 SCab 4x4 since Feb 05 and have pulled numerous times along w/hard driving almost everyday of the week (it replaced my daily driver Ranger) and have had zero problems. The only thing it has been back to the dealer for is the leak from the third light....

ok

come on guys everyone knows about the shudder in the rear ends in the 04's the 02 had a drive line vibe. after the work was done on the 04's had bad drive vibe they said it was the driveshaft couldnt get one at the time on b.o. so i traded it while still in the shop 4 a 04 4x4 3.73 rear end same thing rear end shudder had it replaced. my other had a 3.55 rear end .dont know i just guess in the beginning there was just some bad rears out there and i got stuck with them . also 0% on tundra cant beat that.

I know

After 3 I cant try that again.I didnt say anything about my 1999 ranger that left me stuck out of town on vac with only 6000 miles on it,after i got there got up the next morn it would'nt move, guess what transmission shot had to stay extra week while rebuilt factory shut down for 4th of july could'nt get new one they had to rebuild was never right after that.so now you see why i cant go there anymore.

Bro, seriously no offense, but don't you see some sort of pattern here? I mean besides "pinky44943 + Ford vehicle = broken" ? I've owned Ford vehicles my whole life, known lots of folks who have owned Ford vehicles, and don't recall anyone with this string of bad luck.....
