Yup. Just to monitor temperatures.

It's not bad considering most places want around $400+ for an Xcal2. So figure a hundred bucks because it's going on the dyno.

how does gear and tire size effect RWHP numbers? would decreasing the rotational mass (like rafa did with the lighter wheels) put more power down?

I'm not sure it'd make a difference.

Yes decreasing rotational mass and unsprung weight would be a big increase in power. I'm probally losing 25 rwhp.

Wouldn't it make a difference for shift points and your speedometer?

changing the gears would make a huge difference-probably 15 or so more rwhp. The tune wouldnt change though so it would be a waste of money to put it back on the dyno just to see some numbers. Example: friend of mine had a '00 F150 with 7 in lift and 35's. It had a kenne bell on it and had it dynoed before and after he did gears and picked up 45 rwhp just from the gears. Obviously the gains are going to be greater on a FI truck but there still will be gains.

I just got back from driving around, I picked it up earlier today. I can't explain how happy I am with the increase in power. I haven't got on it completely either but can tell there is a lot more there. I gained .5 mpg driving on the highway on the way back as well! I drove around in the sand for about 30 minutes in 4WD trying to get the front differential working and its amazing how much better it pulls. I'm so happy with the purchase. I just can't wait to really get on it. 500 miles and I'll be draining the fluid and throwing some Royal Purple in there. I also got the MagTech cover which is beautiful!!

Basically,

Do you want me to break a set of leaf springs or driveshaft!?

I got to go down to VMP Tuning so he can fix my tune since the Xcal2 only goes up to 4.56s, oops.

Haha I think you have to mess with the tire diameter to go beyond 4.56 but not sure. Thats what Justin is for
