It feels good puttin it in after your done, but every time I got into a tight spot under the hood I kept asking myself "Why didn't you just pay someone to do this crap?"
What/whose traction bars did you get???

I thought I was going to need them big time since I had horrible wheelhop at stock height. As soon as I did the Belltech leafs I had no more wheelhop and no vibrations with no shims. Guess I lucked out.

I've also heard that there is little to none axle wrap when you go with a lowering kit. Like this one here: http://store.roushperformance.com/detail.aspx?ID=539

My guess would be on the frame by building either a L or U Bracket with a Heim Joint.

That's what I'm figuring as well (I would figure more on the U bracket) If he came up with something different I would be interested.

These aren't ladder bars. They're just going to eliminate the axle wrap. They won't lift the front of the truck any. Ladder bars would be MUCH better.

I have two, (5') foot pieces of black pipe for the bars them self. I'm gonna cut them to the desired length. Those smaller, gold colored brackets will be welded to the frame. The pipes will connect from the rear to the front and Wah-Lah.

Bruce, that lowering kit from Roush will make the axle wrap worse. Those leafs are going to be weaker and flex more.

But, you could buy traction bars from SuperLift and they'll bolt right on. They wouldn't bolt right on to mine because I'm running a flip kit.
