FX2 Sport Forum???

Are there any forums out there???
I mean there is NLOC for the Lightnings, NHTOC for the Harley trucks but I can't seem to find one just for the FX2 Sports? Even on here there is no FX2 forum, just 2004-present. From what I have read Ford released this truck for those that wanted another Lightning so they came out with a package with some parts from FRPP or other areas can get you a "Gen 3" Lightning or you can option for it in a Supercab or SuperCrew configuration.

I have asked over on Modularfords.com that they start a forum for the new model and looks like they are willing to so if everyone is interested.

Isn't it just a trim package? Nothing really special about it that I know of.

FX2s are just 2x4 XLTs with a few fancy parts on it.

Right. One of those cases where Ford saw all the appearance mods that people were doing so decided to sell them as a package.

Is the Fx2 really anything special? I thought it was just another trim level, like Lariat, FX4, XLT, and XL.

You're in it. That'd be like having a forum for Lariats, FX4s, XLTs...

FX2 is only a trim level with a "sport" appearance and is no different than all the other trim levels. Stick around here and you will be ok.

Black 2000,

Hey, it's ok to have a stack of boxes full of mod parts before you get the truck. That has been cofirmed.

No skin of my nose, have one on order. Super Crew black on black.
The "Black 2000" refers to the Lightning I used to own, that I traded in for a 2003 Mach1 that I traded in for a 2003 Harley Davidson that I am now either selling out right or trading in for the FX2.

Sorry, that you guys just think of this as just another "trim" package when from what I've been reading Ford meant for this package to be a base platform for owners to have a sports styled truck that could help ease the pain of there being no Lightning available.

I just thought a specific forum would be easier to sort through who has what mods, where they got the mods and etc.

I was excited when I saw this truck and is why I have bought one, I just assumed others were as enthusiastic about it as I am.

It doesnt have any drivetrain or suspension differences and only has cosmetic changes such as painted mirrors, handles, bumpers, and grille. The only interior changes are the seats and the part of the gauges that says "sport". All of this designates a different trim level. Ford may have come out with the concept truck with whipple, tuned suspension, and wheels/tires but it never made it past concept.

So just do what I did and take your FX2 and add everything on it to make it Ford's "sport truck".

Figure the total bill to replicate this beast would be around $25,000, with all the body flash and paint.

Doesn't sound like just another 2004+ f150 to me.

That was for the CONCEPT truck-never happened-it is just another '04+. take my word for it because I have one and it was just as slow as the rest when it was stock.
