i think the looks alone are a good enough reason to add this. i would never really have a reason to use it but it looks cool.

Thanks! Pat White and the boys got it done. I was pretty happy with the Fiesta Bowl, but b oth the Steelers and the Titans lost this weekend, so I guess football is over for me this year. If LSU knocks off Ohio State, then I will be happy, I guess. There's always next year.

well get out a voltmeter if you have one and see which one is at 12v when you turn your key on...............well i think i am an idiot, i totaly spaced, you could just tap into your ignition wire going to the radio.....much easier to find and get to

yeah my friend has an '05 infiniti g35 and he has kind of the same setup, he doesn't have the start button but he can turn the ignition to start the car and drive off while the keys are in his pocket. is there any way to do that for our trucks? or by installing the chip sensor in like the cup holder or something, so that we just have to drop the keys in the cup holder and press the start button and drive off. would that be possible?!

Same thing in our '07 Camry. It's awesome.

It sucks when I walk up to the truck without pulling my keys out, expecting it to open... lol

Nice mod! I've been thinking of installing a starter button. I think it gives the vehicle a more "racy" feel. I thought about relocating the key undre the seat or something to clean up the column. Still haven't decided yet...I'm still in my planning stages, as I just got my truck a month ago.

So if the button is pushed while the truck is running it will shut off.... but if you press the button while the truck is running *and* the key is in, then it will continue running and the key can be removed?

These two statements seem contradictory, I just want to clarify.

Nice looking mod either way; practical or not.

I've got the S200 starter button in my car as well. It only works with the key in the on position. I think it's cool and it also got rid of that stupid power point in the dash that was ugly. The billet pieces for there are like $50 and don't do anything.
