Aftermarket throttle body 5.4l 3v
Aftermarket throttle body 5.4l 3v
What are the advantages of an aftermarket throttle body? I found this for the 5.4l 3v. Would it be worth it?

ill let you know as soon as i get mine from bob at jusnesmodified.com he and alot of others have said i should see a decent increase, then im gonna datalog with the xcal2 and get a few more ponies out of it since that will be the last of the bolt ons
After thinking about it, I went out and pulled my stock throttle body off and measured it, and as it turns out, the narrowest point is at the blade, kinda like a venturi. It's wide at the top, narrows at the blade, then widens again before the manifold. The measurements are 3.23" or 82 mm at the top, 2.95" or 75 mm at the blade, and 3.04" or 77 mm at the base. I would guess that all 3v 5.4's have the same TB, but mine is an 07. Now if the BBK unit is a straight 75 mm,then I would rather keep my stock TB.

You have said that a JLT/XCAL and straight pipe is better than other available setups.
You have it why not dyno and post before and after results instead of others taking the word of you and your butt dyno?

How about a dyno run before you install your BBK.?
