New BFGs, new AS & now bumpsteer

Hello everyone,
I just got my 285 BFG A/Ts installed along with my 1.5" AS today. I also have a Warn winch and Transformer grill guard and the truck looks awesome now but I have now noticed a pretty significant bumpsteer when I hit bumps in the road or drive up the curb coming into a driveway or a speed bump. Has anyone figured out a way to reduce or eliminate this? It does not feel safe to hit a bump or pothole at 65 or 70 MPH and have the truck's front end bounce all over the road and the steering wheel shimmying. The tires were road force balanced when they were mounted and required very little weight as they balanced up nicely, so this is not the problem. I searched the forums and noticed that some have noticed this before but I never really discovered a remedy for it. It is a shame to have a truck look this nice and feel so sloppy when hitting bumps. I intentionally went with the 1.5" AS over the 2" or 2.5" to avoid as many problems as possible while still improving the stance of the truck. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
SCScrew

The tires are 8 ply with a max inflation of 65 psi. I am running them at 50 psi but when I hook up my travel trailer I will bump up the pressure to 60-65 psi.

That's your problem. Wayyyy too much pressure.

Put them at 36 and you'll be fine.

Do you have any pics of your new setup?

If I ever go that route, that's probably how I will go. All of the pics I've seen on here are of the 2" or 2 1/2".

X2!! Unless your hauling something pretty heavy, your ride will be very rough with that much pressure as well.

I'll drop my air pressure down and try that for a while. I did have an alignment done after the AS install. As for pics, I'll try to get some posted once I get it all cleaned up. Heading out with the travel trailer here later on so maybe when I get back I'll clean her up. Thanks for all the responses.
