Why does Ford still use Limited Slip anyways? From what I've seen on TV vehicle shows, the new Chevy's have a much better traction control system, light years ahead of LS. I suppose we can hope Ford will get with the times with their 2009's. I was surprised they didn't do it with their new SuperDuty's, give them something to talk about regarding a truck's usefulness besides just the tailgate step.
This is part of the reason I traded my 04 in for my 06. The 04 didn't have the limited slip and after spinning way too many times in the snow pulling a snowmobile trailer, I decided I was going to upgrade to the Screw and make sure I got the limited slip again. I'll never over-look whether it has LS or not again. (all of my pre-04 F150s has LS)
