Broke her at the strip.........
Well I'm back from the track (I met up with bootleg837) and came back with no times! I get to the line all ready to lay down a good time untill the light turns green and I feel the truck start to move and I nail it about 2 feet later SNAP!! I sheared off the U-bolts in the rear. It scared the chit out of me at first as the truck went into fail safe mode. So I had to take the driveshaft out and putt to a gas station called ford they towed me home. so at least I found a weak link...

Wow, I just looked at the video. It's hard to see, but did the ujoint fail or did the driveshaft end (loops) "twist" allowing the unjoint to slip out? Either way, that sucks, you would think that the design would have been robust enough to handle the extra torque? Are you going to look for a beefier setup?

If it comes to it, I'd highly recommend these guys. Mike Troyer gave me their name, and I bought my driveshaft from them.

The speed limiter on our trucks is supposedly set due to the rating of our stock tires AND the limitations of the stock driveshaft. I didn't mess around and replaced the shaft, since my tune removed the speed limiter. If you've got the $$$, it'd be a really good idea to get a high-speed balanced driveshaft. It cost a bit because I have the two-piece shaft... But, I feel much better knowing it's not a weak link any more.
Edited to add: Just watched the videos, guess it's not a question of whether you need a new shaft now.
